Plan, build, review
The retainer runs in months. Each one has a beginning, a list, and an end.
Plan. At the monthly review we agree a named list of what gets delivered this month, drawn from the three-month roadmap.
Build. We build it, with a session every week or fortnight where decisions get made and demos happen.
Review. At the end of the month we look at what landed, what it changed, and set the next list. Every quarter we step back and reset the roadmap.

"One thing" is about a fortnight of work. Bigger pieces are split.
Retainers start at £3,000 a month. We confirm the level together on the first call.

Plain terms
First three months fixed, then rolling with 30 days' notice.
Pause once a year: drop to the Care Plan and pick up where you left off.
Everything we build under the retainer is looked after as part of it.
Paused retainer clients drop to the Care Plan: monitoring, fixes, and keeping up when the tools it connects to change. Pick the retainer back up when you are ready.

We build. Strategy is included, but the fee pays for things getting built and running in your business.
Yes. The Retainer is a fixed monthly price. The running costs of third-party tools your systems use are your own and are set out plainly in the terms.

That is what the monthly review and the pause are for. The pace is agreed each month, and if the business needs to catch up you drop to the Care Plan and pick up again later.
